SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER:

PAMELA HATCHER from BCTC Workforce Solutions who will provide insights on the special work that Workforce Solutions offers Kentucky employers and employees.

Pam Hatcher is the Dean of Academics and Workforce Development at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Her areas of responsibility include Workforce Solutions and Advanced Manufacturing & Trades. Workforce Solutions provides customized learning solutions/customized training programs for business and industry, and the Advanced Manufacturing and Trades division, which has 12 academic programs including:  Architectural Technology, Automotive Technology, Computer Aided Drafting Design and Civil Engineering, Computerized Manufacturing & Machining,Construction Technology, Electrical Technology, Energy Technology, Engineering and Electronics Technology, Equine Studies,Industrial Maintenance Technology, Welding Technology.

Previously, Pam was the Director of Workforce Solutions at BCTC and a System Project Manager for Workforce Solutions in the KCTCS System Office.

Pam has a wide range of experience including: education, training and workforce development, business operations, management, leadership and organizational development.

Prior to joining KCTCS, Pam was in the technology outsourcing industry serving in numerous capacities, previously served as a teacher and coach, and as a program and operations manager. Her contributions and successes include development, implementation, and management of a new education and training department, leading sales support teams across the globe with pipelines worth more than $500 million, serving as Chief of Staff to the COO of a $10 billion organization, and managing corporate and community partnerships in the public and private sector. Pam’s 20 + years of experience combines a background in education, business, and workforce development.
